Minimum Engagement Rule - Minimum engagement is 20 ft for all weapons. Call surrender if clear advantage exists within minimum engagement. Maximum range for infantry weapons is 50m. Cannons are 300m.
Call Outs – Calling out another reenactor's hits is not allowed under any circumstances. If you do see a flash and the reenactor that shot you gives you a friendly wave, then simply take the hit. Hit calling/ hit taking has been the never ending complaint in all time periods of reenacting, judges/ advisors will call you out if you do not take the hit. We know that it is sometimes very difficult to know when you have been hit with the noise of battle, this is why we will have advisors. If there are any issues that should be brought to your unit leaders attention and the leader will address the issue with staff personnel.
Special Effects – All special effects used are safe and will not stain or damage any gear.
Surrender – Surrender may be called if a clear advantage is present such as standing behind another reenactor.
Medic Rules - The following medic rules have been devised to keep units together, promote teamwork, reduce downtime, and add realism. |
