The scenario outline for this next "Ardennes Offensive" event will have us using the West side of the training area. We will be fighting on roughly 8 square kilometers. The longest straight line distance from the Western boundary to the East end of the engagement area is 5 km but actual driving distance will be more like 9 km. There is an extensive road network and we have much longer distances to travel. This is to give a better reenactment of the Ardennes Offensive itself. The area has several choke points ( road innersections ) in which the Allied Defenders are tasked with holding the German advance.
